With over 330 hours of storage on a 2GB SD card (included), the Call Assistant SD is a perfect mix of stand-alone (no PC required) functionality with convenient PC management if and when required - and it works with digital telephone systems! The Call Assistant SD is an easy-to-use multifunctional telephone conversation recorder, and the only recorder available with both telephone line and handset recording capability (all accessories included). Both sides of the conversation are stored internally to a removable SD card or to your PC using the include XtR Desktop Phone Recorder software. It also offers the flexibility to playback the recordings directly from the device (built-in speaker or headphones) and to transfer the files to your computer via USB for storage or playback. It's compact size allows you to place it right next to your phone without taking up too much desk space. Call Assistant SD can be used on analog phone systems, digital PBX telephones, IP telephones, and multi-line telephones.

Used for connecting directly to a standard analog telephone line.

Handset Mode Connection

Handset mode connection is used when you cannot connect to an analog telephone line directly. Examples of when you need to use handset mode are on Digital PBX telephones, IP telephones, and Multi-Line telephones. (Note: Caller ID on the device does not work in a Handset Mode Connection setup as the phone does not transmit caller ID data to the handset)
