Shipping Policy

*Free Shipping

Our free shipping offer is for Ground service on orders over $249.00 and applies only to customers with a shipping address in the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). Free shipping does not apply to orders purchased with store credit or special orders drop shipped from a manufacturer to you. Ground services include USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, and FedEx Ground. Average delivery times on ground shipping services is 1 to 5 business days, depending on location.

Free Shipping Upgrade for Back Orders

Customers who secure a back order for out of stock merchandise will, once the order is fulfilled, receive an upgrade from Economy to Standard Ground shipping at no charge. This offer applies to customers with a shipping address in the contiguous United States.

Shipping and Handling Rates

Rates are based on the weight of the shipment, the standard rates of the shipping service that you choose during checkout, and handling costs.

Shipping Services

We ship via UPS, FedEx and US Postal Service discretion in order to facilitate the fastest delivery times possible for our customers.

Shipping Address Policy

In order to protect the consumer, credit card holder, and JLM Security Products from fraudulent activity, there are a number of fraud protection measures in place. One of these measures is shipping address verification. All JLM Security Products orders will ship only to addresses that have been verified to be associated with the credit card used for the purchase. We use an Address Verification Service (AVS) to verify shipping addresses. For purchases paid via PayPal, the shipping address must be associated with the purchaser's PayPal account. Orders paid for by Check or Money Order can be shipped to any address. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion.

Order Processing and Delivery Times

Business days are Monday-Friday. We ship most packages within 1-2 business days (same day in some cases) via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Special and custom orders may take up to 3-4 business days to process. You will be notified immediately if any additional delays are expected. All shipments are sent via a "traceable" means, and you will be provided with a tracking number when it is available. We ship most items with signature required to minimize theft and/or loss. Economy Shipping delivery may take 5-10 business days from the time we ship the order, where Ground Shipping delivery may take 3-7 business days from the time we ship the order. 2nd Day and Next Day shipping services are available and can be chosen during checkout. 2nd Day and Next Day shipping applies to the actual delivery time from the time we ship your order and does not include processing and handling time.and Please note that UPS and FedEx do not pick up or deliver on weekends or holidays. (Example: A package shipped via UPS Next Day Air shipped on Friday will not be delivered until Monday). We cannot guarantee delivery times as the shipping companies maintain control of this. However, we will expedite all orders to the best of our ability. If your shipment is delayed any reason, please contact the shipping company and provide them with your tracking number. All shipments are sent with tracking/delivery confirmation numbers and are shipped F.O.B. Origin.

Estimated Total Delivery Time Disclaimers

  • Estimated Processing Time + Estimated Shipping Time = Estimated Total Delivery Time
  • Processing can take from 1 to several days depending on the product, as special orders and custom-made products take longer
  • Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays
  • Estimated Total Delivery Time applies to all in-stock products only (no pre-orders or back orders)
  • If we must review an order for security reasons, that review may cause the Estimated Delivery Time to be delayed


International Orders

For international orders, nearly all of our inventory is available to ship worldwide with the exception of SecurityMan and SVAT products. Please allow 2-3 additional business days handling. We usually ship via USPS Priority Mail International or Express Mail International for an additional fee. USPS Priority Mail International fees are built into our shopping cart and will be added to your order during checkout. If you wish to have your product shipped via USPS Express Mail International, please contact us for a quote. Some products can be shipped via UPS or FedEx international services. If you wish to have your product shipped via UPS or FedEx, please contact us for a quote.

You may incur Customs duties, value added tax, or brokerage fees which are the responsibility of the customer. JLM Security Products will not bear the responsibility for any charges incurred outside the actual transaction between the customer and JLM Security Products.

You may also experience Customs delays. JLM Security Products has no control over these delays and cannot provide status updates on when a package will clear Customs. After clearing Customs, the package delivery is assumed by your country's local courier service and may be assigned a new tracking number. We do not see and are not sent this number, so you must contact your local courier service to inquire about delivery status.

Lithium/Li-Ion Batteries: Due to recent US Postal Service regulations, secondary lithium-ion cells and bat­teries (rechargeable) are prohibited when mailed interna­tionally or to and from an APO, FPO, or DPO location. Click Here for more information.

Lastly, please bear in mind that our electrical products are designed and manufactured to operate in the United States. Many international power systems employ a 220V/50Hz system whereas the U.S. and a handful of other countries use a 110V/60Hz power system. Should you belong to a country that doesn't use the U.S. power system you should obtain a power converter to prevent any complications. We're very happy to conduct business with customers in more than 60 nations worldwide.

Discreet Payment and Shipping

Billing Privacy

  • We accept payments from Western Union, PayPal, U.S. Postal Service Money Orders, and personal checks (money orders and checks require up to 10 days clearance), which ensures anonymity when doing business with us, and avoiding potential conflicts regarding your package's delivery.


Shipping Privacy

  • We ship all orders in unmarked, plain brown boxes so as not to attract attention. In fact, the discreetness starts with our company name - a return address on a package saying "JLM Merchandise" or "Fulfillment Center" will attract much less attention than "Joe's Hidden Camera and Spy Shop"! You also have the option of having your package held for customer pickup, so you can personally pick it up at your local UPS or FedEx service location. To have your package held for pickup, simply leave a message in comments stating so, or contact us after you've placed your order and let us know your wishes.


E-Mail Privacy

  • To help you further safeguard your personal privacy, you may want to take the additional preventative measure of creating a secure e-mail account. There are free e-mail services, such as Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo. Of course, you can always place your order over the phone at 888-483-3377. Ask us not to send you any e-mail and we won't!


Disclaimers

  • JLM Security Products is not responsible for packages stolen from your property.
  • If tracking number shows Delivered, it is assumed delivered and the customer assumes all responsibility.
  • JLM Security Products is not responsible for shipping carrier delivery address errors.
  • We will help customers by filing appropriate claims, but we will not provide advance replacement products due to shipping carrier errors.
