Metal obstructions (metal buildings, aluminum siding, etc.) between camera (transmitter) and USB receiver will adversely affect (and in some cases completely block) digital video signal. In this case, reposition either the camera or the receiver location.
Email Alert feature does not support SSL or TLS authentication to send email through SMTP (will not work with email services that require this type of authentication, such as gmail, yahoo mail, hotmail, etc). Use an email address that is included from your ISP that does not require SSL/TLS authentication.
